Hans is a gifted practitioner. I had been cycle touring in Europe for a number of weeks and rather than feeling energized and excited, I began to feel fatigued, stiff and uncomfortable. It was a feeling that did not go away after rest, stretching and massage. I was seriously thinking of bringing my bike trip to a close.
After one session with Hans, I felt profound relaxation, pain relief and a sense of lightness in my body and mind. I felt ready to trust my body again.
When I visited Hans for a Shiatsu session I had a completely blocked pelvis/hips, and this was somehow blocking the rest of my body. Also I had a slight feeling of disorientation and restlessness. It felt like Hans knew exactly what to do, so I completely relaxed and trusted in the process, felt like I am going into a state of deeper healing. Besides unblocking my pelvis, hips and movement I also felt something difficult to describe -cause I don't really know or believe in these things- but it was a very specific feeling: that all my "bodies" or "energies" are now aligned or concentrated instead of scattered. Sadly this feeling didn't last too long, but the release of my pelvis was very real and it lasted more than 2-3 weeks.
After weeks of severe back pain and several visits to different doctors and therapists, the treatment with Hans finally made the difference. Soon after, I could move freely again and even return to sports. The session itself was not only effective but also deeply relaxing and full of positive energy — truly a breakthrough experience.
